The First Asia NICHIYU Service Skills Contest, organized by Nippon Yusoki Co., Ltd and co-organized by Nichiyu Forklift (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, was successfully held on 7 September 2012 at the refurbished workshop in Shanghai. A total of eight participants from China, Singapore and Thailand were involved.
The Management of the Sales Department of Nippon Yusoki and the winners of the Japan contest held in Japan oversaw the organizing of the contest as well as acting as the contest judges.
Among those gracing this contest were Mr. Kyoichi Haizaki (Executive Vice President of Nippon Yusoki Co., Ltd Sales & Marketing Division), Mr. Kazuo Yoshizawa (General Manager of Nippon Yusoki Co., Ltd Overseas Sales Division )and Mr. Yutaka Yamazaki (Managing Director of Nichiyu Forklift (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.).
NICHIYU enforces strict quality control to ensure high-quality products and provide the most comprehensive after-sales service to all customers. This first contest held in Shanghai has been established as the first step, future contest will be held in Singapore or Thailand.
After the intense contest, the Gold award went to Mr. Guan Shiwei of Nichiyu Shanghai Qingdao Branch (China); the Silver award went to Mr. Gunasekaran Pradeepan of Nichiyu Asia Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) and the Bronze award went to Mr. Chettha Chundee of Nichiyu Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
The winners of the Japan contest also conducted onsite demonstrations which exhibited more detailed and meticulous service skills, the participants and all observers are motivated to achieve a higher standard of after-sales service skills.
The contest not only recognized the winners. It played a positive role in the promoting major areas of after sales training. For examples, the servicemen enthusiasm for more technical skills increased, comprehensive level service skill improved and prompting constant service skills upgrading among servicemen. The ultimate objective is to enhance customer satisfaction on NICHIYU. It also showcases NICHIYU’s excellent after-sales quality service to the world, building up the company image and consumers’ trust in NICHIYU products.
